Tips On Long Pots
The game of snooker and pool for that matter is highly unpredictable and the more you play, the more situations you will find yourself in. Today we will give some pointers on those dreaded long shots.

Cue Work
A great tip to remember is to line up your bridge hand and cue relatively close to the cue ball. This will ensure that you do not over extend and overpower the shot, as that often leads to rattling the object ball in and out of the pocket. However, if you hit it with the right force, then the pocket is generally more accepting if you miscue your shot slightly into the bunker.

Nice And Slow
Remember, when you pull your cue back, do it nice and slow and follow through with your stroke. Aim at the contact point on the object ball and take your time when making the right adjustments so that the aftermath of your shot is in your favor.
