The Perfect Stroke

The Perfect Stroke
The stroke is probably your most important piece of arsenal in having a strong snooker game. So how can you ensure that your stroke is consistent? Well, we have prepared some detailed information that you should remember and think about the next time you play.

Body Positioning
It is important to keep your body still and your dominant hand relaxed, yet stable and strong. Ideally, your body should be completely still and only your stroking arm should move.

Follow Through
Be sure to keep your cue leveled and balanced as you make your shot. Also, it is crucial that you follow through regardless if you are going for a soft or power shot.

Pendulum Stroke
Your cue should be able to swing back and forth in a smooth manner. Pull the cue back and allow the momentum of your stroke to propel your shot. The most common mistakes people make is that their stroking arm is angled in or outward. This mistake will lead to loss of power and accuracy!
