How To Properly Line Up Your Shot
One of the most important aspects of a strong pool game is to be able to line up your shots consistently. With the combination of a solid stroke, a proper bridge, and the ability to aim, you are sure to clean up the table.
Contact Point
To find the contact point of where to hit the object ball, you should imagine a line that goes through the center of the ball and towards the desired pocket. The contact point will be where this line goes through the object ball in relation to where the cue ball can hit this line.
Aiming Line
After you have established the contact point of the object ball, you must then adjust your shooting stance that is according to the angle that must be implemented. Once you have figured out the con act point at which you need to hit the object ball, draw another line that represents the angle in which your cue ball must point to hit the contact point. Follow this line and follow through.
